While your file is temporarily stored in our system (time frame depends on plan), it is stored using 256-bit AES encryption for exceptional security. Both TLS and AES methods of encryption are secure for transferring legal documents, medical records and images, or any other important information. SendThisFile also meets the file transfer requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
Once your file expires (file expiration varies by plan), your file will be automatically and securely deleted from our system.
