How to download a file?

Someone sent you a file, but how do you download it? This document will show you how to download the file in 3 ways.

A file can be sent to you via an email or a text (SMS) message. Either way you receive a file, the process to download the file is the same. Once you select the download link, you can use your account password (if you have an account), request a one time verification code, or no password/code required.

When someone sends you a file to your email address, you will receive an email from no-reply@sendthisfile.com that states the senders email address (as who is sending files to you), a download link, an optional message from the sender, and the file name(s).
Once you select the download link, you will see if the files are secured or not. (If the files are not secured, you can immediately download the file(s).)

With the files being secured, you can choose to SIGN IN (if you already have an account), SIGN UP (for any plan (free or paid)), or REQUEST CODE.

If you select SIGN UP, you will be prompted with sign up options, such as your email address or social media: Facebook, Google, or LinkedIn. Complete the sign up process by following the instructions depending on which sign up option you choose.
If you select SIGN IN, you will be prompted for your login credentials or email address and password.
If you select REQUEST CODE, then you will be sent an email or a text message (depending on how you originally received the file notification) with a verification code and then you will enter the code you received.
Once you see the download page, you can download each file individually by clicking on the file name or download icon (to the right of the file name) or you can click DOWNLOAD ALL. By clicking DOWNLOAD ALL, all files will be downloaded at once into a zipped folder. (You will need to unzip or decompress the folder on your own.)

You have successfully downloaded your file!
